Gin has for a long time been a much-maligned maker of tears whilst cooped up in the back cupboards of denial and liquor cabinets the world over. This incredibly versatile tipple has done its time and is ready to shine.

From a rich and dark history as a cure for ails in the European medical fraternity to ruining the lives of many a Londoner in the world’s first great drug epidemic, gin has a past as sordid as Sweeney Todd himself.

Our Ginstitutions aim to uncover the secrets of this fine spirit and to show what makes it so unique, so versatile and so now.

We look at how it is made and taste ours along with other libations (looking at both the inspiration behind and the specifications of each) both straight up and mixed by our resident flavour genius, Jason Chan, winner of world cocktail cups and an all round drink fiend.

As a responsible band of boozehounds we will ensure you are well watered and catered for with some tasty treats from some of the finest kitchens in town.

In typical clandestine fashion the locations are often kept under wraps to keep any scurvy dogs away but we will keep the crew well informed.
